LV + Comme des Garcons
Fans of French luxury brand Louis Vuitton and fashion rebel Rei Kawakubo of Comme des Garçons can expect an extraordinary collaboration coming up. The two will open a joint Tokyo store in September that will last for a period of three months.
According to Yves Carcelle, chairman and CEO of Louis Vuitton, the project will be a fine way to celebrate 30 years since the French brand first opened in Tokyo. Carcelle also added that Marc Jacobs, artistic director of Louis Vuitton, admired Comme des Garçons and was an enthusiastic supporter of the idea of a joint venture.

Mayo Traded to Memphis for Love
The Minnesota Timberwolves did not hold onto O.J. Mayo for long.
The Wolves have reached an agreement in principle with the Memphis Grizzlies that sends the draft rights to Mayo, Marko Jaric, Antoine Walker and Greg Buckner to the Grizzlies in return for the draft rights to Kevin Love, Mike Miller, Brian Cardinal and Jason Collins.
The blockbuster deal for both teams wasn't completed until past 2 a.m. ET, some two hours after Boston made the 60th and final pick of the draft, according to The Associated Press.
ESPN.com reported on Tuesday that Wolves GM Kevin McHale was infatuated with Love, but felt that the team had to select Mayo and use him to acquire more assets. Love, a fundamentally-sound post player, should mesh well with the Timberwolves' budding star Al Jefferson.

NBA Finals 3 Superstars > Than 1 Superstar
The Boston Celtics rode their three All-Stars to their 17th championship on Tuesday night, blowing by the Los Angeles Lakers with a stunning show of second-quarter scoring to win 131-92 in Game 6 of the NBA Finals.
This was the most lopsided game I've ever seen. After the second quarter I was begging for the scrubs to get playing time to keep the game a little more exciting hoping that the Lakers would make a run. But Mr Bryant just disappeared. The game started off like it was going to be close with Kobe hitting contested 3's and talking to the crowd like he just knew they would pull it off. The second quarter came along and all hell broke loose for the Lakers they couldn't buy a bucket and couldn't play defense. To sum it up for the Lakers this was a pathetic showing they must have left there A game back in L.A. because they showed up with their E- game at the worst time. I only feel sorry for Phil Jackson because the only way they would have won the series was to clone MJ and Pippen and maybe Luc Longley who is tougher than Gasol, I might add to even compete at the defensive end. The Big Three did what they were supposed to do win in Boston even though they had a tough road to the finals, which is mostly their faults by not putting (Atlanta and Cleveland) away in 4 or 6. It made them playoff tested I'm happy for KG the guy that deserved the ring the most. For Kobe, Odom and the rest of the L.A. Fakers better luck next year, the Western conference is up for grabs.
(Im not sure I like the Jungle Time theme is this subliminal because there are no white players that get p.t. on the Celtics it might be reaching but its Boston )
Now that this story is over I'm ready for the NBA draft to see what moves will be made this year. I hope some big draft day trades are upon us lets hope.

At first I thought so what he can spray paint but I started to watch him and was amazed check the video and he was selling the art work for cheap I should have coped one. Former heavyweight boxer Mitchell Rose has filed an $88 million dollar copyright lawsuit against Jay-Z in Brooklyn Federal Court, AlHipHop.com has learned.
According to Rose, he gave Jay-Z his demo tape on March 12, 2001, following a bout between William Joppy and Felix Trinidad.
He was shocked to discover that Jay-Z allegedly stole his style of rhyming, delivery and even certain lyrics.
“He took the style and the delivery,” Rose told AllHipHop.com. “He’s using it on the regular, now Lil’ Kim is using it. All I want is justice. Jay-Z knows what I am talking about."
Rose, 39, is also a personal injury lawyer who wrote a book called Mike Tyson Tried To Kill My Daddy.
The former heavyweight boxer who is known for knocking out Eric “Butterbean” Esch, claims he met Jay-Z right after the Joppy-Trinidad fight and gave a demo to the rap superstar, who promised to listen to it.
“He took the demo with him and shortly after that he began using the whispering in his songs," Rose said.
Rose, who is also from Brooklyn, has served papers to two of Jay-Z’s 40/40 night clubs, but has yet to tag the rapper himself, according to sources.
"I had previously trained some of my artists to use that style, but it quickly became obsolete after Jay-Z got a hold of it," Rose claimed. "He [Jay-Z] used the whispering to enhance his music and financially benefit from it. Jay-Z disregarded the fact that it was my demo where he got the style from as he went on to use it for his own personal gains, which is wrong.”

My Vote for MVP is Jesus Shuttlesworth
If the Celtics win tonight and Ray Allen has a good night he should get the MVP because he has been the most consistent one of the big three. But most likely it will go to Paul or Kevin before it goes to him.

Shouts to my Pops for being a role model in my life. He went against the grain a country boy that married a black women when things like that weren't popular. I'm a product of that and my life is easier because of his sacrifices. Its not until you get older that you realize how much of an impact your pops makes on your life. Life is too short so word to the wise don't take anything for granted.

It's hard to overstate how awesome Wade was in leading the Heat to their lone championship, particularly in the final four games when Miami rallied from a 2-0 deficit to stun the Mavs.
Wade started the comeback by leading the Heat back from a 13-point fourth quarter deficit in Game 3, scoring 12 points in the final 6½ minutes to send the game to OT. He also made the biggest play of the series with his crazy dribbling foray to the rim at the end of overtime in Game 5 that -- controversially -- earned a whistle from referee Bennett Salvatore and a trip to the line for the winning free throws.
For the series, Wade averaged 34.7 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 2.7 steals -- and this in a slow-paced series (neither team cleared the century mark in regulation in any of the six games). His basket attacks were so deadly because the Mavs couldn't stop fouling him. Wade shot a whopping 97 free throws in the six games -- the most of any player since the merger -- including 25 in Game 5.
Overall, Wade's 33.8 PER is easily the best of any Finals performer since the merger. While it seems strange to have somebody besides Michael Jordan in the top spot, the truth is Jordan never dominated a Finals to this extent. At the time, many called Wade's performance Jordanesque. It turns out they might have been selling him short.

3-1 Big Three One Game Away
I just got back from Hawaii an all day trip coming back in to town we left at 9 pm Hawaii time Weds and just got back 11pm Thurs Eastern time. So on the way home from Richmond I had to listen to the game. It sounded like an ugly start to the game with the Lakers up by 21 at the end of the first quarter, but I made it home in time to catch the last 4 minutes of the game. Now the Big 3 are one game away. Kobe is not Mike this proves it he should have taken over earlier. There is no way you lose a 21 point lead at home down 2-1 in a series.
