Texting over Talking
When dealing with females texting can be misleading because when you are texting them they are reading it how you would say it. They may not know when you are joking and take everything literally and that changes the whole conversation. Never have a serious conversation with a text its easy because you can talk alot of shit easier with words typed then with words spoken. To avoid any miscommunication just pick up the phone and call.Make sure you get to the point dead air is the worst.
Simple Challenge
See if you can go all whole day with out cussing. Sounds easy but some how some way you will slip up. Someone might do something or say something that makes you say WTF are you doing are WTF are you talking about. A damn a shit and or a fuck will be uttered sometime during the day. I'm going to try it but I know someone is going to eventually make me fail the challenge.
SuperDud
I have a feeling this years Superbowl will be a dud. The commercials are going to be cheap because you can't spend a million on a 30 sec ad anymore due to the economy. There is no hype like last years with the Pats being 18-0 and everyone wanting them to win or lose, to watch an upset or history. Pittsburgh is a heavy favorite this year, of course its not rocket science they are playing the Cardinals. Maybe the Cards can pull an upset and they can give John McCain a reason to celebrate because he wasn't able to pull one himself. I'm looking forward to next year maybe my bears can have a chance to win Superbowl 44 to rep for the 44th president.

Reasons I Want To Delete My Myspace
Waste to much time going on it on a daily basis to check messages or comments.
Nosey people that assume things just because of comments left on your page.
Myspace beefing (subliminal quotes) when everyone knows who you are talking about.
Having to make your page private due to stalkers.
People that don't know you and want to add you for no damn reason when they live somewhere like Alaska.
Whats the point of a top friends list if you hang out with most of the people on it, if you are their friend you should know what they are up to.
People showing off and talking all this imaginary stuff on their page just for attention.
Just bored with it.
I've been talking about deleting it since the new year but haven't done it yet when this list grows to the point I really cant stand it, then my page will no longer exist.

Side Hustles Side Hustle
Its becoming apparent that no job is safe in 09. Its time to pick up a side hustle to insure that you get that paper and if you already have one I suggest you pick up another one for insurance. I'm trying to work 24 hrs a day and get paid for every minute of it sleep is overrated anyway. I figure if I can do it for a half a year stacking my paper then start my own thing. One day at a time.

Clipse Bowling Party
Dont sleep get your tickets. My bowling game is a little rusty but I'm still nice.
Mosley Upsets Margarito in 9th Round
A crowd of 20,820 fans, the largest in the 10-year history of the Staples Center, watched in awe as Mosley scored a knockout at :23 of the ninth round, capping off a dominating display of hand speed that was surpassed only by the punishment of his power.
Margarito, whose fans clearly outnumbered Mosley's judging from the crowd's response, was able to survive after getting up from a knock down just before the bell rang to end the eighth round.

Sweet Tea Vodka
Its vodka that taste just like sweet tea only ten times stronger. Someone bought me a drink and later that night a shot of it and I was dunzo. At first it was good but then after a while with a mixture of other drinks it wasn't a good combo.

I was checking out the complex blog and saw that Tiffani-Amber Thiessen better known as Kelly Kapowski is now 35. WoW time flys its crazy you can still catch re-runs of a show done 20 years ago.

Cheesecake Strawberry Lemonade Liquid Crack
I went to Cheesecake factory for my birthday dinner and had to get a glass of strawberry lemonade its liquid crack I would have asked for them to add to alcohol but i was still hungover from the night before. The only thing close to Cheesecakes is Red Robins because they actually have real strawberry's in the drink.
Whats Next?
After the Superbowl and the NBA Allstar Game there is nothing worth watching or looking forward to in sports until March Madness. This is the time of the year that a premier boxing match like Mayweather vs Pacquiao would be great but dont think that fight will ever really happen. Boxing really needs to make a comeback after that wack fight with De La Hoya.

This is just a waste of time two lyrically ok rappers that probably will never sell due to the market and due to promotion reasons beefing. Yeah its entertaining but whats the purpose neither can further there careers by saying they won the beef or bodied the other dude. Beefing is only good when its clash of the titans and someone has something to lose. Pac vs Big ,Jay-z vs Nas , Jay-z vs Mobb Deep, Jadakiss vs Beans, 50 vs Game etc. They will squash this and be on record together anyway.

This old lady stopped by a few days ago and dropped off some flyer's to learn T'AI CHI. I've heard of T'ai Chi but never really knew what the purpose of it was.I guess its good way to relax and relieve stress. I looked it up and here are some facts

The study of tai chi chuan primarily involves three aspects:
* Health: An unhealthy or otherwise uncomfortable person may find it difficult to meditate to a state of calmness or to use tai chi as a martial art. Tai chi's health training therefore concentrates on relieving the physical effects of stress on the body and mind. For those focused on tai chi's martial application, good physical fitness is an important step towards effective self-defense.
* Meditation: The focus and calmness cultivated by the meditative aspect of tai chi is seen as necessary in maintaining optimum health (in the sense of relieving stress and maintaining homeostasis) and in application of the form as a soft style martial art.

How Much Time Do You Waste?
Think about it the only thing that is for certain is that time passes by. How much of it do you waste on a daily basis? Many of us put things off but really have no reason to besides wasting time doing something else. The most successful people in the world are the people that use their time wisely. If it takes your an hr to do something that takes 15-30 minutes then one you are mentally slow or two you like to bs and waste time. One of my new years resolutions is not to procrastinate and be more productive with my time. Multitasking and planning are what will help to reach those goals so when your just sitting around bored wasting time I will be busy so don't waste mine.
Class over Chaos
The older I'm getting I'm starting to see how this area really lacks a nice lounge or club. Everything opens up and its cool then a certain crowd takes it over and it changes the outlook of the club or lounge. It would be nice to have somewhere that you could take your lady out or if you enjoy good music real music with real instruments and want to look nice and forget all the bullshit that is going on for a couple of hrs. After watching Goodfellas it has inspired me to one day bring something like that to this area.
The type of place with red carpet entry and a cigar/smoking lounge with live entertainment and food for the soul. A place where the Rat Pack would hangout. One lotto ticket or a few rich investors away from making it happen one day.

Its that time of year W-2's are here and I'm hoping my return is enough for a trip to L.A. or Miami because I can't stand VA right now.
The Secret
I got this book as a gift for the holidays Its been out for a while and after the first couple of pages I just kept reading it. I had to take a break for a while to see if it really works. It bases everything on positive thinking and how powerful it is if you use it right everyday of your life. It goes along with the law of attraction if you think negative then you attract negative energy and negative things are bound to happen. If you constantly have positive thoughts about what you want out of life and where you want to be in life those things will be attracted to you and in some form you will receive everything that you want. I know its deep but if you are ever bored at Barnes and Nobles pick it up and read the first couple pages it could change your life or maybe not, it depends on you.
Burn Notice
I got a chance to catch a marathon of this show in its 3rd season . Its actually pretty good it takes place in Miami and that always helps. Plus any show with voiceovers is cool (ex the wonder years or scrubs).

The Music Game
The hip hop game should have a draft to limit the garbage, because its starting to look like the college game with nothing but amateurs. Yeah you might be Hansbourgh on your block but you are not in the league with professionals. You have people from all over the country that think they are the next thing but aren't ready for the next level. Then you have old heads taking up space on rosters that need to retire. If you have been in the game for more than 5 years and owe dough just find another job. The magazines have lost clout and the blogs tell you who is hot right now. The music game in general is messed up. You can drop a classic and then get dropped from your label months later because last album didn't sell. I think the music heads and scouts at the labels should sit down together and think of a new way to market music so that the good hip hop artists have a chance to survive in the industry and bring creativity back. I hope 09 is a good year for classic albums instead of mixtapes.
The New Hope
Two days after my 24th birthday the new president was sworn into office. It got me thinking that if he only serves one term I will be 28 and if he luckily serves two I with be 32. How will things be 4 years from now? What will have changed? I started to think how serious each decision that the president makes will affect my future and what our generation is responsible for. This is what everyone was waiting for, now what do we have to look forward to. I hope a real productive change in our government that will continue years beyond his presidency. Politics have a tendency to change like the weather so a new problem will always come up. I hope the focus stays on the real problems and not the scandals the media likes to make breaking news. It takes more than one man to make a change and with the voters that helped him win the election I hope those are the same people that will help change this country for the better. Only time will tell.
